INTERMIDIATE SHOOTERS COUSE (6 Hours)
I. GENERAL COURSE INFORMATION:
A. Course Description: This course is designed to teach shooters how to effectively handle an attack or life threatening encounter. Here, shooters will step out of their comfort zone and learn practical lifesaving skills while applying these skills on the range. There is no classroom for this course. All coursework takes place on the range. The course outline includes;

- Designed to help the student develop a skillset for effectively drawing a firearm from a concealed holster.
- Students will be taught sight alignment and basic point-shoot methods
- Students will learn how to shoot while attempting to retreat
- Students will also learn breathing methods to help them shoot under stress
- Emphasis will be placed on follow up shots and basic magazine exchanges (reduced capacity and emergency reloads)
- Students will learn situational awareness skills to better help prevent an attack before it’s too late
- The skills and steps needed to perform an effective firearm presentation and shot execution
- How to score and assess their misses and/or mistakes
- Students will leave the class with a solid foundation allowing them to train individually
- Students will leave with better situational awareness
